I love the scents of the beard wash (sandle wood and cedar) and the beard butter (Valhalla) they last all day and keep my beard feeling great and smooth all day! (Also love the air freshener, the fresh coffee scent goes well in the kitchen)

I am on the wrong side of 60 and spend most of my time outside either working , riding or other outdoor pursuits. Needless to say the old beard can get pretty wild and dry, the beard oil tames it and stops that dreaded chin itch and the butter is great for styling on those trips to the big smoke , misses reckons it hasn’t felt this soft for years . Got sick of using standard shampoo and conditioner on my beard and having the scents clashing with my beard oils so I thought I'd give these a go and was seriously impressed. Not only do they pair perfectly with the oils but they leave my beard feeling much softer and smoother than regular shampoos do. 10/10.
And the free 10ml oil, choccy and air freshener definitely did not go unappreciated.

All of your items are rather hypey, especially the limited edition gear that are a pretty awesome mix that I was lucky to get hold of a recent one that only had a run of 500, 497 of 500 was mine and I only used the beard wash once (which was a great mix) but now I can't bring myself to use this and the other items due to it's Special Edition status.

Back to the question though, you asked if I believe the Skolbeard Family had lived up to the hype...

Recent specials, items like the heated beard brush 2.0 just made it for Christmas after a little break where the cheeky bastards couldn't be located for stock (definitely went into stealth mode) but they made an impressive return and although I've only used it a few times I think it's an easy way to work into your beard routine that really does make a difference, even your general online stock which maintains a steady flow of awesomeness...

All the items I've purchased recently with some listed above not only lived up to the hype with both the products and the crew with their 100% to make it all happen has absolutely decimated the hype. It's like your stuff is saying WTF, Hype, what are you doing all the way down there, you best hype yourself up hype cos your hypeyness is really disappointing.

I'm sure everyone gets the idea after another novel size review so I'll finish up by saying that what I and many others say in their reviews stating their high opinions and that true "above and beyond" term continues to be the case which is not something you see these days, never wavering, always helpful, personal interactions where you are treated like one of the crew instead of just a number on the computer screen. The Skolbeard Family continues to maintain a level of awesomeness that is almost unheard of, between their products, personalised service, support for a charity for veterans which is why I themed the photo like this.
